  6. AFile    3.30    A datafile manager
  7.  
  8. AFile is a data file manager, that is a tool which lets you create and
  9. manager your files (addresses, video collections, clients, ...) using
  10. an Intuition interface.  There is no limitation to the number of fields
  11. or records.  The program offers the standard printing, sorting, and
  12. importing/exporting functions.  AFile uses AREXX as it's programming
  13. language.  You can create full input masks with background picture, field
  14. positioning, checking of entered data, menus and printing customization.

  21. CarCosts    3.06    Keep track of automobile expenses

  23. This is version 3 of the program "AutoKosten", now called CarCosts.
  24. This version uses MUI (2.1 and above) amd supports locale.library, if
  25. available. Without locale.library, the interface uses german text.
  26. Two english catalog files (one with kilometer/liter, one with
  27. miles/gallons) and a french one as well as the .cd and .ct files are
  28. included.
  29. A program to convert 2.0 data files to version 3 data files is included.

  42. FishButton    1.0    Popup menus to run FreshFish CDROM apps
  43.  
  44. ButtonMenu pop-up menus for launching ready-to-run (not archived)
  45. applications on FreshFish CDROMs. Uses the BMX ButtonMenu Executor
  46. program by Oliver Roberts to load ButtonMenu from disk. These can
  47. be put into effective use by creating ToolManager exec items for
  48. each CDROM Menu, then putting all these TM exec items into a TM dock
  49. with a HotKey set for it. Then all the menus will be a HotKey-press
  50. and a click away.

  66. This program will allow a SYSOP to add a multi-level
  67. bulletin program to a BBS.  It is a STDIO door and works
  68. with any BBS which supports them.  This door has been used
  69. with the Citadel BBS as an autodoor and a regular door.

  77. DataMasterDEMO    ?.?    Demo version of a Database program.

  79.     Data Master is a database program programmed for Amiga computers.
  80. It's not the best database program for Amiga (the best ShareWare/
  81. LicenseWare database program??), but it's cheap and specially made for
  82. an average user.
  83.     In the program there are five different field types which are
  84. string (text), integer, floating point, type (selection) and boolean
  85. field types. In one record it can be up to 256 different fields and
  86. the number of records is practically limited only by the size of the
  87. free memory. Records can be sorted based on eight key fields.
  88.     You can search from the database those records which match the
  89. search patterns given by the user (for example, all the records whose
  90. first field's first letter is A). You can also search for text strings
  91. from the whole database. Using Data Master it's possible to print the
  92. database for printer or save it as an ASCII file to the disk. Number
  93. fields can be displayed on the screen as graphic diagrams, and using
  94. this function you can simply compare records. There is a separate
  95. field editor for the creating of the fields. Records can be, of
  96. course, moved, copied, deleted or cleared as a single record or as
  97. a block which includes many records.

  206. THOR is a offline message reader developed for saving online time while
  207. connected to BBS systems, and for building and maintaining a database of
  208. the messages from the boards. The message database has true history and
  209. threading, fast searching, mark and keep options. Each board has a user
  210. database with all users which has written messages. This user database can
  211. be used when sending messages. There is an optional internal fullscreen
  212. editor. The editor has all features needed for message editing. Both THOR
  213. and the internal editor have ARexx ports. THOR is fully compliant to the
  214. Style Guide with a resizeable, font-sensitive and configurable user
  215. interface. Supports new 3.0 features (newlook menus, memory pools,
